ATS Euromaster wins contract to fit tyres for British Gas

ATS Euromaster has won a contract with British Gas to fit and service tyres across the energy provider’s fleet of 13,000 vans.
As part of the deal ATS Euromaster will roll-out a full Michelin tyre policy across the fleet.
The arrangement includes monthly fleet checks carried out by ATS Euromaster’s tyre inspectors using the company’s FleetSure tool - an electronic device that it claimed enables inspectors to measure tread depth accurate to 0.1mm.
ATS said that by closely monitoring British Gas’ tyres it could ensure the maximum amount of mileage is extracted safely from every tyre and any problems are spotted quickly, reducing downtime.
ATS said British Gas drivers will benefit from access to it’s network of 345 service centres, more than 95% of which it claimed can accommodate large vans, and the same nationwide 24/7 roadside rapid response as truck fleets.
