Voting now open for debut Reader Award

Date: Thursday, September 18, 2014   |

Voting has kicked off for the first-ever What Van? Reader Award that will form a new part of the 2015 What Van? Awards, which are taking place in partnership with LCV leasing giant Leaseplan.

We’re asking readers to select the best vehicle converter or supplier in the marketplace from a 25-strong shortlist our expert panel have brought together. It’s a sector under-represented in terms of recognition of the excellence it offers, so we’re proud to add it to the awards categories for 2015.

And there’s a good reason to express your opinion because we’re going to select 10 voters at random to win a £20 voucher for either iTunes or Marks & Spencers, depending on their preference.

To have your say, head to www.whatvan.co.uk/readeraward. Voting will continue to run until Friday 17 October.

The venue for the 2015 What Van? Awards luncheon, supported by Leaseplan, is the exclusive 1901 restaurant in the five-star Andaz hotel on Liverpool Street in London. Taking place on 16 December, the awards will anoint the industry’s best in front of an audience made up of the industry’s leading LCV personalities.

Leaseplan is partnering What Van? for the second year running, having implemented a new commercial vehicle strategy and created a new LCV team in 2011 that is now bearing fruit in the industry, particularly in the corporate and SME sectors.

“Launching more van-appropriate customer service propositions… we’ve been able to demonstrably retain more van clients, win more high-profile new van fleets to our portfolio, and, ultimately, double the size of our van fleet in our corporate sales channels,” Leaseplan’s LCV boss Mark Lovett told What Van?
