Calum James has been appointed as general manager of electric van manufacturer Farizon UK.
The appointment has been announced by Farizon’s distributor Jameel Motors UK.
James was previously Jameel Motors UK’s head of sales, with a replacement in this role set to be appointed in due course.
James previously worked for Mercedes-Benz UK for 11 years.
He said: “I have enjoyed a variety of roles within the automotive industry so far in my career, but this opportunity with Farizon UK is the most exciting challenge yet.
“Setting new benchmarks across several crucial areas, the Farizon SV is a strong entrant to the electric van sector.
“There’s huge potential in fleet sales and the SME market, and I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues to establish Farizon as a major force in the UK van market.”
