David Hanna has been named as director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK.
Hanna, whose appointment will be effective from 1 October, has 20 years of automotive industry experience, and has been with Volkswagen Group UK since 2014, including roles with Audi and Volkswagen Passenger Cars, where he has most recently been head of network sales, as well as Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
He said: “Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is a fantastic brand with class-leading products and an incredible history. It also has one of the best team of retailers in the UK through its Van Centre network.
“I’m excited to be able to lead the team in the UK, and am very much looking forward to working with them and the network again in order to continue the success of the brand.”
Volkswagen Group UK managing director Damien O’Sullivan said: “I am delighted to welcome David to the board of management of Volkswagen Group UK in his new role as director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
“I’m sure he will bring strong leadership and considerable experience to this important role.”
