Harris Maxus UK says it is making its largest ever aftersales investment amid a dealer network expansion.

The company, distributor of Maxus commercial vehicles, is onboarding 18 new dealerships, increasing the size of its network by 25%.

Harris Maxus UK says further investments in infrastructure, technology, and customer service are planned.

It has also established a new aftersales leadership team, with Michael Ward as aftersales director, Brian Anderson as head of service quality, Gary Smith as fleet aftersales manager, Tom Banfield as head of dealer aftersales, and Carl Copestake, Alan Lindsay, and Byran Jeffrey as regional aftersales managers.

Ward said: “We’re ensuring that aftersales is the beating heart of Harris Maxus UK. We’re investing in the network, people, infrastructure, systems and training at a level that sets a new precedent for this company, and a new benchmark in our sector.

“It means stronger support for dealers and world-class service for customers, wherever they are in the UK.”
