Caddy BlueMotion on the way

Volkswagen is set to expand its low-CO2 BlueMotion brand to its commercial vehicle range with the introduction of a Caddy BlueMotion.

Shown at the recent British CV Show as a concept based on the Caddy Life, the MPV derivative, the Caddy Bluemotion is tipped to be in production by the end of the year.

It will be powered by a 're-tuned' version of the 1.9TDI engine and as well as a reduction in CO2 emissions it also promises improved fuel consumption. We are hoping that that it will be offered in two-seater van trim as well as a people-carrier.
