Integra acquires more Berlingos

Date: Monday, January 21, 2008

Integra Utility Services has just taken delivery of 62 1.6HDi 75hp diesel Citroën Berlingo Enterprise vans; its third major order for Berlingos since 2002.

Supplied through Leamington Spa dealership, Murley Citroën, they're being operated subject to 30 month contract hire with maintenance agreements with Pendragon. They are set to cover up to 62,500 miles apiece during their time with Integra.

They've been allocated to technicians who install domestic and commercial water meters in the Midlands and surrounding areas. Each vehicle has a full bulkhead, a ply-lined load area with a slide-out racking system, a roof-mounted beacon and large, high visibility, red and yellow reflective panels on the rear doors.

“The latest Berlingo has shown that it can meet our carbon footprint reduction criteria with a 26 per cent cut in carbon dioxide emissions over the previous model combined with a major improvement in fuel consumption,” says Integra fleet manager, Dave Knowles.
