National Grid sticks with L200

Date: Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Six Mitsubishi L200 4Work Club Cab 4x4 pick-ups have gone into service at National Grid's site on the Isle of Grain near Rochester in Kent.

They're being used by the site's supervisors to oversee construction and subsequent operation of the organisation's new liquefied natural gas import terminal. It's designed to meet 20 per cent of the UK's demand for imported lpg by 2010/2011.

National Grid already has over 100 Mitsubishis in service, including upwards of 80 L200s.
