Penny expands crane range

Penny Hydraulics has come up with two new fully hydraulic Swing Lift cranes with the needs of light commercial and light truck operators in mind.

As their names suggest, the Foldaway 500 will hoist 500kg while its Foldaway 1200 companion will deal with loads weighing up to 1,200kg. Both cranes offer full 360° slew rotation.

Penny's cranes and platform lifts are now available to Nissan light commercial customers through the van maker's dealer network. The Chesterfield-based firm has also developed a special vehicle-mounted platform lift for Royal Mail Letters designed to simplify the handling and collection of post trolley cages when smaller vans are used.

In a further initiative, Penny has cut the price of its 550kg-capacity Easyloader tail-lift to £995.
