Tough towing test for Rodeo pick-ups

Date: Monday, March 24, 2008

Eight new Isuzu Rodeo Denver 4x4 double-cab pick-ups are being put to a tough test by Oxfordshire photographic firm Gillman and Soame. They're being used to haul trailers laden with alloy staging and grossing at 2,800kg; just 200kg below the vehicle's maximum braked towing limit.
The staging is used to support up to 1,500 people for group photographs. The subjects are often either schoolchildren or members of the armed forces.

One of the Rodeo Denvers has been purchased outright while the other seven are being leased under a three-year contract with Lombard. Adams Brothers of Aylesbury was the supplying dealer.
