Two new Van Centres for Volkswagen

Hans-Heiner Tueting, head of sales worldwide at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has officially opened two new, state-of-the-art Van Centres in Sheffield and Shrewsbury.

 

With premises covering 1.3 acres and costing over £2.5 million, the Sheffield site is the largest addition to VW's nationwide network of dedicated Van Centres and will be run by Gilder, one of the oldest Volkswagen retailers in the UK.

Head of business at Sheffield, David May said: “The new Van Centre will provide the best one-stop shop for LCV operators throughout South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Our customers can be assured of receiving a highly professional service in a modern and friendly environment.”

It has a large workshop with eight service bays fully equipped with the latest diagnostic and servicing systems, plus a spacious, modern showroom displaying VW's light commercial vehicle range including the Crafter, Transporter, Transporter Shuttle, Caddy and Caravelle MPV.

Other products and services available include fleet sales, parts and accessories, Class 4 and 7 MOT, van rental, specialist conversions and courtesy vehicles, plus Assured Used vans and a range of attractive finance options specifically designed for business users from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Finance.

The second site in Shrewsbury, which is run by Hartshorne Van Services, has a large workshop fully equipped with the latest diagnostic and servicing systems, plus a spacious, modern showroom. Parts, accessories and Assured Used Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are also available.
