Air con as standard for Hiace

Date: Monday, June 15, 2009

All Toyota Hiace panel vans now come with air conditioning as standard as part of a package of improvements. They include an extra load area light, more sound absorption material, redesigned seats, new upholstery and new window glass designed to reduce glare.

Minor cosmetic changes have been made to the dashboard while external cosmetic alterations include a new-look front grille, extra chrome detailing for the bonnet and at the rear of the vehicle, and redesigned wheel covers.

Unfortunately these upgrades do not disguise the fact that the 2.8 – 3.0 tonne gross weight Hiace now needs replacing by a completely new model.
