MAN’s debut van, the TGE
- GKC Electrical has become the first customer to take delivery of MAN’s debut van, the TGE. The electrical contractor, which is based in Pontyclun, Wales, received the front-wheel drive TGE 3.180 from Commercial Motors (Wales) of Newport, Gwent. GKC boss Gareth Coomber said the van would help the firm fulfil its contracts all over Wales.
- Rental company Dawsonrentals/vans is to open a new site in Eccleshall near Stoke. The firm said the centre would augment the existing infrastructure supporting south Cheshire, Staffordshire and the north Midlands. Melissa Jones has been promoted from a commercial role within the business to manage the site. Dawsonrentals/vans already operates 5,500 vehicles from seven locations nationwide.
