An online grocery business has reported improvements in driver behaviour and efficiency since adopting telematics provided by LEVL for its electric van fleet.

Farmdrop, which operates a fleet of 32 Nissan ENV200s and two Renault Kangoo ZEs for last mile deliveries in London, Bristol and Bath, began working with LEVL in March this year.

LEVL provided a Geotab telematics platform throughout the fleet, since when Farmdrop has seen a double-digit improvement in driver behaviour and energy use.

Farmdrop head of growth Mike Pearson said: “LEVL and Geotab has helped us make our fleet safer and more efficient.

“Using the driver behaviour add-in, we have seen a 33% reduction in incidents of poor driving per mile.

“We have also seen a 27% reduction in the kW/mile we need to execute our London, Bristol and Bath routes.”

LEVL director Andrew Pearce said: “We are pleased to be working with Farmdrop and providing real telematics data for their fleet of electric vehicles (EVs).

“We work closely with Mike and his team to develop new features, reports and dashboards that are specific to EVs.

“The results they have seen so far are fantastic and we are proud to be part of the success of the Farmdrop EV fleet.”
