The Port Lympne wildlife reserve in Kent has taken delivery of 30 LCVs from VW dealer JCB Group, split equally between Amarok pick-up trucks and Caddy light vans.

The Amaroks were selected for their off-road ability on multi-terrain land while the Caddys will serve veterinary teams responding to emergencies and carrying out routine animal checks.

The site works in conjunction with the Aspinall Foundation in caring for 800 animals.

Damian Aspinall, chairman of the Aspinall Foundation, said: ‘We are delighted JCB Group has chosen to support us with these vehicles. Our teams at Port Lympne rely heavily on having vehicles that can take on the challenges of working across a 600-acre, multi-terrain wildlife reserve, in a variety of roles and these Amaroks and Caddys have already proved that they are up to the task.”
