Mercedes-Benz Vans introduces online sales platform for limited edition X-Class

Mercedes-Benz Vans has launched an online sales platform for the limited supply Edition 1 version of its X-Class pick-up.

The Edition 1 features all the kit seen on the flagship Power line, such as electric driver and passenger seats, automatic climate control, Keyless-Go and leather steering wheel, and also benefits from the Winter Package, which offers heated driver and passenger seats and heated washer fluid jets.

The Edition 1 has a list price of £41,156, excluding VAT, but Mercedes is offering a range of finance options to customers: Agility (Personal Contract Plan), Personal Contract Hire and Business Contract Hire, and the offer also includes a range of flexible finance parameters for annual mileage and deposit contribution to provide customers with a choice of personalised payment options.

At launch in January the X-Class line-up was priced from £27,310 to £34,100, excluding VAT.

Customers ordering the Edition 1 online can have the vehicle delivered to their billing address or visit their preferred dealership to collect it and Mercedes said two free services are also included in the offer.

Mercedes-Benz Vans said the online sales initiative was part of its Advance programme, which aims to move the brand from being just a vehicle manufacturer to “a holistic provider of transportation mobility solutions”.
