New location for Gloucester Fiat van sales

A new £5million dealership is being built in Gloucester to sell vehicles including Fiat Professional LCVs.
The new Imperial Commercials Gloucester facility, in Spinnaker Road, will sell the vans alongside DAF trucks and be equipped with six LCV workshop ramps.
Construction is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2019.
The Imperial Commercials franchise is moving from its existing Mercia Road site and says the decision was driven by a growing customer portfolio, requiring larger premises and new equipment.
All of the current 50-strong work-force is expected to move across to the new premises, and the company says the creation of further jobs is likely.
Imperial Commercials regional director for the western region Daniel Fitzjohn said: “We’re very excited at the prospect of operating from Spinnaker Road.
“The hard work being delivered by our current Mercia Road team has laid the groundwork for a fantastic future for Imperial Commercials in the region.
“The new dealership will help us raise our service levels to even greater heights, and local operators can look forward to a seamless transition to Spinnaker Road next spring.”
