Vauxhall has supplied eight large Movano box vans to wholesale home improvement company Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery.

Conversion firm Lawrence David fitted the box bodies to the Movano platform cabs, which Benchmarx will use to deliver ready-assembled kitchens to trades people at its 180 branches nationwide.

Vauxhall claimed the new fleet of Movano box vans offer an uplift in payload and a lighter body conversion compared to Benchmarx’s previous vans, which came from another commercial vehicle manufacturer.

Derek Wilson, Vauxhall’s Light Commercial Vehicle director, said: “The Movano is the perfect choice for businesses like Benchmarx thanks to its class-leading payload, economy, versatility and driver comfort.”

Steve Bareham, Southern Region operations director at Benchmarx, said: “The new Vauxhall vans will enable us to be far more efficient in our use both of time and fuel by rationalising the number of deliveries we make and creating a more efficient branch operation.”
