New head of fleet for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has appointed a new head of fleet.
Claire English is taking on the role, replacing David Hanna who recently moved to become the brand’s head of service and parts.
English has been with VW Group since 2003, working in sales operations and marketing with Skoda and VW, and most recently as national contract hire and fleet manager for VW’s car fleet team.
In her new role, which begins at the end of June, she will be responsible for all fleet sales, through five area sales managers and key and central account managers, rental and leasing managers and local business development managers within the brand’s 72 Van Centres.
VW Commercial Vehicles head of sales operations James Douglas said: “I’m looking forward to welcoming Claire to our brand, and I am sure that her depth of operational fleet knowledge, complemented by her passion for customer experience, will make her a valuable addition to the team.”
