Penny Hydraulics gains Ford QVM status

Penny Hydraulics has received accreditation under Ford’s Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) scheme for fitting vehicle-mounted lifting equipment.
QVM companies are assessed by Ford to ensure they meet required standards in manufacturing, engineering and quality control, and offer comprehensive customer support.
All conversion work carried out by QVM converters is guaranteed, and each vehicle comes with an owner information pack.
Penny Hydraulics sales director Richard Short said: “We are extremely pleased to gain QVM status. We are proud to have achieved this accreditation and to have the recognition that our working processes are up to the highest standards.
“Our assessor commented that the work that we do in the highly regulated nuclear industry led to very tightly monitored processes.
“We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Ford who are by far the largest supplier of light commercial vehicles to the UK market.”
