Peugeot head of Business Sales, Matt Weston

Peugeot has appointed Matthew Weston as its new head of Business Sales following the departure of Louise Neilson, who has moved to a different position within the PSA Group.

Weston takes on the role having spent the previous three years as LCV product manager for Peugeot and Citroen. He has worked within automotive sales for 25 years, including almost 15 years at the PSA Group.

Peugeot said Weston would work closely with growing  the brand through its dealer network and also in working towards providing an electric version of every model by 2023.

As LCV product manager, Weston took responsibility for elements covering the brands’ van ranges such as pricing, specification changes and strategy.

Weston said: “We have set ourselves some really strong business objectives for the coming years, and I look forward to taking on the challenge of assuring the Peugeot brand continues to excel.”

David Peel, managing director of Peugeot UK, added: “Our plan for an electrified range is just one of the many undertakings we have committed to and Matt’s experience with the company will be a great asset to help drive our objectives forward.”
