Peugeot has become the latest PSA Group brand to announce further details of an electric version of its medium van.

The announcement regarding the e-Expert follows an update from Vauxhall about its Vivaro-e, and Citroen about its electric Dispatch, with all three models built on the same platform.

As with the Vivaro and Dispatch, Peugoet has revealed that the e-Expert will come with a choice of two battery options, with a capacity of 50kWh or 75kWh, offering a driving range on the WLTP test cycle of 124 miles or 186 miles respectively.

Peugeot says the loadspace volume of the e-Expert will be identical to that of diesel-powered Experts.

The e-Expert will be launched in the second half of 2020.
