Ford Ranger Thunder combines range-topping engine with high spec

Ford is adding a new special edition to its Ranger line-up. The Thunder comes in Sea Grey, with black 18in wheels, the 2.0-litre bi-turbo engine and a number of unique styling details.

The Ranger Thunder is available to order from £32,965 (excluding VAT) for delivery in late summer. 

Limited to 4,500 examples, it is derived from the Wildtrak equipment grade. This means it always comes as a double cab, with the 213hp 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel and the 10-speed automatic gearbox.

It is finished in Sea Grey with red highlights on the grille and sports hoop, unique badges, 18in black alloy wheels, LED headlights and black accents all around the vehicle.

Inside, the Ranger Thunder features black leather seats with red stitching and black floor mats.

For practicality, A black Mountain Top powder-coated roller shutter with bedliner divider is available as an optional extra.

WLTP fuel economy and CO2 emissions stand at 31mpg and 239g/km.
