Average used LCV values at BCA were up slightly in August, amid rising sale volumes.

The average sale price during the month was £7,709, up from £7,698 in July, with values averaging nearly 13% over guide value expectations, and sale conversion averaging over 95% in most cases.

Sold volumes were up by more than 7% during the month.

BCA COO for UK remarketing Stuart Pearson said: “Professional buyer interest continues to be exceptionally strong for LCVs with a notable uptick in activity from volume buyers and increasing numbers of buyers bidding online across the board.

“BCA has the largest registered professional buyer base for light commercial vehicles and we are seeing levels of online engagement in our daily LCV sales programme continuing to increase significantly.”

BCA has also just launched a new Saturday sale, in addition to its existing programme, which includes LCVs.
