Mercedes reveals prices for eVito line-up

Mercedes-Benz Vans has announced pricing and specifications for its electric medium-sized van the eVito, which is now on sale through its dealer network.
The eVito is available in two lengths with prices starting at £39,895 (all prices exclude VAT) for the eVito Pure L2, and £40,415 for the eVito Pure L3.
The higher specification eVito Progressive is priced from £41,600 in L2 and £42,120 for the L3 variant.
The model qualifies for the Office for Low Emissions’ (OLEV) plug-in van grant, which gives customers a 20% reduction on the purchase price up to a ceiling of £8,000.
The L2 model offers 6.0m3 cargo volume and a payload of 923kg. The L3 offers 6.6m3 cargo volume and a payload of 898kg.
Standard Pure specification includes a height and rake adjustable steering wheel, hill start assist, electrically adjustable heated exterior mirrors, sliding doors on both sides of the load bay, wood flooring in the load area and an adaptive brake light. In addition the eVito gets as standard a heated drivers’ seat, air conditioning, a four-metre charging cable and a CanTrack vehicle tracker.
Progressive trim adds colour-coded bumpers, full wheel covers, front fog lights, headlight assist, a 75mph speed limiter, lumbar support and electrically foldable mirrors.
Mercedes Pro connect comes free for the first three years with both equipment level lines and includes remote access, digital drivers’ log, drive style monitoring, real-time variable servicing monitoring, parking time monitor and geo-fence options. Pro connect on the eVito also bundles in pre-conditioning of the heaters and highlights the vehicle charging options nearby.
According to Mercedes-Benz Vans the eVito delivers 85kW of power, 300Nm of torque, a 92 mile range and can be fully charged in six hours.
