VW to deliver 134 Crafters to Murphy Plant

Murphy Plant, a provider of plant, transport and other specialist equipment, will take delivery of 134 new VW Crafter vans fitted with racking.

Murphy Plant provides a broad range of equipment including specialist assets for ground engineering, pipeline testing, tunnelling, rail and more.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will deliver the vans through the Alan Day Volkswagen Van Centre and Bott will supply and fit the bespoke racking systems designed to safely store and transport equipment.

Tony Murphy, fleet manager from the Murphy Group, commented: “We invest heavily in our fleets to ensure we can provide the best customer service as efficiently as possible so it was crucial for us to choose a competent and reliable van partner to help bolster our fleet.
