Dacia has unveiled its new Duster Commercial, the second time the SUV has been converted into an LCV.

The new Duster Commercial starts from £11,995 (all prices exclude VAT), and is offered in Essential and Comfort trim levels with a choice of three engines.

Two petrol engines are available, with the 1.0-litre TCe 90 producing 89hp and the 1.3-litre TCe 130 producing 128hp. Both petrol engines produce claimed CO2 emissions of 141g/km with a fuel economy figure of 45.6mpg.

Four-wheel-drive (4WD) is offered with the 1.5-litre diesel engine only. The diesel produces 115hp, however the front-wheel-drive (FWD) version is the best in terms of fuel economy, offering 57.6mpg and emitting 128-129g/km of CO2.

This changes to 51.3mpg and 143g/km for the 4WD diesel variant.

The Duster Commercial has a maximum payload of 492kg and has up to 1.5m3 of cargo space with a maximum load length of 1,557mm. Load length falls to 1,247mm on the 4WD model.

Essential specification offering 16in steel wheels, body-coloured bumpers and roof bars as standard.

The Comfort trim offers alloy wheels, front fog lights, chrome exterior detailing and electric door mirrors as well as an upgraded infotainment system with a 7in touchscreen display.

Drivers can choose from a selection of optional extras, which include metallic paint, a spare wheel, and European maps for the navigation system.

The Essential trim level is available from £11,995 and the Comfort model starts from £13,395.

Renault launched the Duster Commercial in the UK in 2015 but ceased selling it when it finished its model run at the end of 2017.

A Renault spokesperson said: “The previous Duster Commercial came to the end ahead of the launch of the new Duster.

“We didn’t renew it at the time due to other engineering priorities. We are now able to bring it back for our customers."
