Renault has opened orders for its revised Trafic panel van.

The updated Trafic features a new front-end design, featuring full LED lights and a redesigned bumper, while a revamped interior features new dashboard and instrument panel designs.

An 8in touchscreen infotainment system features satnav and Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, and there’s a 4.2in colour display in the instrument panel.

There is 84 litres of cabin stowage space, and the option to fold down the middle seat backrest to create an office space.

Available driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition with overspeed alert, driver attention alert, automatic high and low headlight beams, all-round parking sensors, and a reversing camera.

There is a choice of 110hp, 130hp, 150hp and 17ohp diesel engines. All come with manual transmission as standard, but the 150hp and 170hp engines are also available with an optional dual-clutch auto.

The new Trafic panel van is available in two vehicle lengths and two heights, with a loading area measuring between 5.8m3 and 8.9m3. Maximum load length is 4.15m thanks to a hatch in the bulkhead that provides extra space.

There is a choice of Business, Business+, Sport, and Sport+ trim levels, and there are said to be several options for glazing, partitions, doors, and crew van arrangements.

Prices start from £25,200 excluding VAT, and the first deliveries are expected before the end of the year.
