SmartWitness names new EMEA managing director

Camera telematics firm SmartWitness has appointed Fearghal MacGowan as EMEA managing director.
MacGowan joins SmartWitness having previously worked for companies such as Oracle, Cisco, and Huawei, and also two companies which he founded and later sold.
He is said to have a deep understanding of technology and extensive knowledge of the channel partner ecosystem, which SmartWitness hopes will aid its growth throughout the region.
SmartWitness vice president Aaron Kim said: “We are very excited to add Fearghal MacGowan to our leadership team. We believe that he will bring a fresh viewpoint to the organization and his customer-centric approach aligns well with our core values.
“I expect to see rapid expansion throughout EMEA with his contributions.”
With MacGowan’s arrival, SmartWitness managing director and co-founder Paul Singh will be stepping down to pursue ventures adjacent to the industry.
