Tyre company adds 100th Volkswagen Crafter to fleet

More than 100 Volkswagen Crafter vans are now on the fleet of tyre fitting and breakdown recovery firm Lodge Tyre Co Ltd.
The 100-van milestone was passed by the latest batch of vans delivered to the firm as part of a renewed fleet deal, with 105 Crafters now on the fleet.
The vans, supplied by West Yorkshire Van Centre, feature specialised air compressors as well as customised racking and livery.
The ability to add the compressors is said to have been a key factor in the choice of the vans, along with competitive pricing and large load space.
Lodge group fleet manager Andy Willis said: “Since we bought our first fleet of Volkswagen vans in 2019, the vans have coped with everything we have thrown at them and managed the workload extremely well.
“With competitive pricing, bespoke conversions and such a strong aftersales offering, it has been an easy decision to bolster our fleet with more Crafters.”
