Ssangyong has announced that its updated Musso pick-up is available from today in UK showrooms, with prices starting from £23,495 excluding VAT.

Exterior design changes with the facelifted model include a new chrome radiator grille, and newly-implemented side and rear character lines.

The Musso is powered by a 181hp diesel engine, paired with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, and with selectable four-wheel drive.

Official fuel economy is up to 29.5mpg on the WLTP combined cycle.

There’s a 1t payload, while the automatic version can tow 3.5t simultaneously.

There’s a choice of short and long wheelbases, and four trim levels – EX, Rebel, and Saracen with the short wheelbase, and range-topping Rhino with the long wheelbase.

All models feature an infotainment system with either an 8in or 9.2in screen, and DAB, Bluetooth, and MP3 connectivity, while all but EX feature Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, and Saracen and Rhino come with TomTom sat-nav.

The Musso also comes with a seven-year/150,000-mile warranty.
