Toyota adds Proace Max large van to updated LCV range

Toyota has announced updates to its LCV range, including the introduction of the new Proace Max large van.
The new model will be available with a choice of two wheelbase lengths, three overall lengths, and two height options.
Engine options will include an electric version, which Toyota says will offer a range between charges of up to 260 miles.
The Proace Max will also be the first Toyota van to feature doors which can open to a 270-degree angle. while the platform is said to be suitable for a wide range of conversions, including one or three-way tipper and dropside beds, plus optional chassis, platform and crew cab lay-outs.
Elsewhere in Toyota’s LCV range, the Proace and Proace City have been given styling updates, while the electric versions of these vans will be able to cover an increased distance between charges.
A new 48V hybrid version of the Hilux pick-up truck is also joining the line-up.
