Orders open for facelifted Toyota vans

Toyota has opened orders for updated versions of its Proace and Proace City vans.

Both models feature updated front-end styling, while all models in the Proace City compact van range now feature the Smart Cargo system, which uses a folding outer passenger seat and a hatch in the bulkhead to extend load length.

The Proace medium van is available as a medium or long panel van, a crew cab, and a platform cab, and with a choice of 120hp, 145hp, and 177hp diesel engines.

Available trim levels are Active, Icon, Icon Premium, and the new Sport.

Standard equipment with Active spec includes a 10in infotainment touchscreen, digital driver display, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, rear parking sensors, a plylining in the load space, lane keep assist, driver attention assist, automatic high beam and automatic emergency braking with forward collision warning.

Further features of Icon spec include the Smart Cargo system, sat-nav, wireless phone charging, and 16in wheels with full wheel caps, while Icon Premium adds automatic air conditioning and 17in alloy wheels.

Features of Sport spec include 17in black alloy wheels, black door handles, body-coloured bumpers, keyless entry, and LED front fog lights.

Prices excluding VAT start at £29,921 for a 120hp Active van, and rise as high as £38,721 for a 177h Sport crew cab.

The Proace City is available as a medium or long van, and with a choice of 102hp and 130hp diesel engines.

Trim options are Active, Icon, and Sport. Standard features of Active include a 10in infotainment touchscreen, digital driver display, automatic emergency braking with forward collision warning, lane keep assist, road sign assist, automatic high beam, driver attention monitoring, an electric parking brake, rear parking sensors, and cargo area plylining (removable on request).

Further features of Icon spec include sat-nav, front fog lights, 16in wheels with full covers, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, power-folding mirrors with piano black casings, one-touch power windows, front parking sensors, and a reversing camera.

Sport spec adds body-coloured exterior trim and 16in alloy wheels.

Prices excluding VAT start at £23,496 for a 100hp Active, and rise as high as £27,217 for a 130hp Sport with automatic transmission.

The first deliveries of the updated Proace and Proace City are expected from April/May.
