The electric Citroen e-Berlingo van has now gone on sale in the UK.
It features a 136hp electric motor with a 50kWh battery, and has a range of up to 171 miles between charges on the official WLTP test cycle.
Charging capability is up to 100kW, allowing a 0-80% charge inside 30 minutes, while a 7.4kW on-board charger is also standard.
The van is available in a choice of Medium and XL models, measuring 4.4m and 4.75m long respectively, with the latter also available as a crew van.
Load volumes with the Medium panel van are up to 3.3m3, or up to 3.9m3 when the van’s modular folding passenger bench seat and load-through bulkhead are used, while with an XL these volumes are 3.8m3 and 4.4m3 respectively.
Load lengths are up to 3.09m with a Medium van and up to 3.44m with an XL, while maximum payloads are 803kg and 751kg respectively.
There’s a choice of two trim levels – Enterprise Pro, which is available as a Medium or XL panel van or as a crew van, and Driver Pro, which is only available as a Medium panel van.
Standard equipment with Enterprise Pro spec includes electric folding door mirrors, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, an 8in touchscreen with DAB, Bluetooth and USB sockets, and cruise control with speed limiter.
Further equipment with Driver Pro spec includes 16in alloy wheels, body-coloured exterior trim, sat-nav, a reversing camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
Prices, excluding VAT and including the UK Government’s plug-in van grant, are £25,980 for a Medium panel van Enterprise Pro, £27,180 for an XL panel van Enterprise Pro, £27,595 for a Medium panel van Driver Pro, and £28,330 for a Medium crew van Enterprise Pro.
