Europcar Mobility Group UK has announced the addition of 750 Mercedes-Benz Sprinters to its CV fleet.
The firm says the Sprinter’s high levels of quality and comfort, 4G wi-fi connectivity, and array of safety features make it an attractive proposal for firms using its long-term rental product Advantage for Vans.
Europcar says it has already seen significant demand for the model, including a deal for six vehicles on a long-term rent to Oracle Asbestos Solutions, complete with livery.
Oracle head of central services Deborah Cook said: “As a nationwide business our employees spend a lot of time on the road. Their vans are their workplaces so it made sense for us to invest in the latest and best technology. And Advantage for Vans from Europcar meant we could provide our employees with this technology, without having to tie up significant funds on purchasing them outright.
“Maintenance is also included in our fixed monthly bill so if there is ever an issue with one of the vehicles that’s another cost that we’ve removed from the balance sheet.”
Europcar commercial vehicles sales director Stuart Russell said: “Oracle Asbestos Solutions needed a transport partner that could provide its employees with highly-specified vehicles without the financial outlay involved in acquisition.
“Our long term rental proposition as well as our wide range of specialist vehicles meant that we were able to fulfil this demand while providing a flexible, cost-effective option.
“We are looking forward to continuing to work with Oracle, supporting the business as it continues to grow.”
