Europcar launches fleet van rental centres

Europcar is launching five specialist van rental centres in the UK, aimed at ensuring businesses and fleets have access to the right vans when and where they need them.

Each of the supersites (which are located in Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, London and Bristol) includes specialist vehicles including five and six seat crew vans, 4x4s, pickups and a range of Chapter 8 liveried vehicles.

Europcar said the new sites have the capacity to store several hundred vans, meaning the hire locations can meet demand for large bulk orders of vehicles.

“Complementing our existing network of 170 Van Stations in the UK, the supersites allow us to respond to the specific commercial vehicle requirements of our customers, including Chapter 8 compliant vehicles,” said Ken McCall, managing director of Europcar UK.

“By having a dedicated focus on a range of commercial vehicles – combined with specialist account management - these supersites mean we can deliver both efficiency and cost savings to the businesses that need the confidence of supply for their own continuity.”
