Richard Chamberlain has been appointed as the country manager for Fiat Professional with immediate effect.
He joined Fiat Professional in October as head of sales from Renault Trucks where he worked as LCV brand manager for little more than two years.
Chamberlain takes over from Alejandro Noriega who has moved to head up Fiat’s car division in the UK. Noriega’s stint at the helm of Fiat Professional was short-lived, having taken over from Ricky McFarland in June 2016. McFarland now works at Mercedes-Benz Vans as its head of strategic accounts.
McFarland’s tenure was also brief: he headed up the brand for just nine months, having replaced Sebastiano Fedrigo, who stayed in the role for four years between September 2011 and August 2015.
Fedrigo then became country manager for Fiat’s car arm, and has now been named as Fiat-owned performance brand Mopar’s service, parts and customer care director.
“I am delighted that the new structure of the company is now aligned with the needs of both our customers and dealer partners,” says Ashley Andrew, managing director of FCA UK. “With an exciting and growing range of cars and vans, and with even more new models on their way, I am confident FCA will continue to grow and succeed.”
