Isuzu has revealed tweaks to its D-Max pick-up range.
From 1 October, trailer sway control, which uses sensors to detect trailer swing and reduces vehicle speed if necessary, will be standard on all four-wheel drive models.
Also, the suspension in double-cab models will change from a five-piece to a three-piece leaf spring set-up, which Isuzu claims will offer improved ride comfort and reduced noise levels.
The kerb weight of double cab models is also being reduced by 10kg, resulting in a corresponding 10kg payload increase.
In addition, three new exterior paint colours will now be available – Spinel Red, Sapphire Blue and Galena Grey – while range-topping Blade trim will be available in four colours, with Obsidian Grey and Spinel Red now offered.
The D-Max’s interior gets updated soft pad designs on the arm rests, instrument binnacle and utility box lid, while gloss black trim has been added to the window switches, air vents and glove box, which also incorporates a new D-Max badge.
Prices for the D-Max range, excluding VAT, start at £16,799 for a 4×2 single-cab, and rise to £29,799 for a Blade automatic double-cab.
