LDV has revealed its second zero-emissions model at the 2017 CV Show.
Called the EG10, the all-new model is expected to arrive in the UK in the first quarter of 2018, with petrol and diesel variants to follow. Its unveiling comes a year after the EV80 panel van was show in Birmingham.
According to LDV, the new model will be capable of travelling for more than 100 miles between recharges. It is powered by a 150wK motor, with the firm aiming the model towards taxi drivers – thanks to its seven seats and sliding rear doors – and companies making small deliveries, as well as large families.
The model has a load capacity of 5.2m cubed.
Two variants will be offered – Flagship and Elite.
Standard kit includes front and rear parking sensors and a camera, Bluetooth, smartphone connectivity and a seven-inch LCD display screen, while top-spec models add daytime running lights with automatic high beam, automatic windscreen wipers and a sunroof.
Pricing information is expected to announced closer to the vehicle’s launch next year.
