Rally-inspired MS-RT conversions of the Ford Transit Custom and Transit Connect will soon be available directly from Ford dealers.
Both models feature sports styling inspired by Ford rally cars, including redesigned grilles and front facias incorporating more aggressive air intakes, integrated fog lights and a diffuser element.
There are also wide wheel arch extensions, bespoke 18in OZ Racing anthracite alloy wheels, side skirts, a rear diffuser and roof spoiler.
The MS-RT Transit Custom features a twin-pipe sports exhaust, while the Transit Connect gets a quad-exit system.
As a further cosmetic enhancement, the MS-RT Transit Custom is available with any exterior paint colour from Ford’s Special Vehicle Options range, and optional decal kits can also be applied.
Inside, both models feature MS-RT Nappa leather and suede seats, an MS-RT sports steering wheel with carbon fibre inlays, and MS-RT branded instruments and floor mats.
The conversions are available with both panel van and double-cab bodystyles, with load volumes and payloads unchanged from the standard vans.
The MS-RT Transit Custom is powered by a 185hp diesel engine, with a choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, while the MS-RT Transit Connect comes with a 120hp diesel engine, and either six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
As a member of Ford’s QVM scheme, MS-RT’s conversions do not affect the Ford warranty.
Having previously been available from MS-RT, the models will be available directly from Ford dealers from next month.
