ATS will apply the new design to all new light commercial vehicles joining its 1,000-strong fleet. The programme will start with 60 replacement vans entering service this year, comprising 30 Ford Transit Jumbo vans, 26 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter panel vans and four Sprinter flatbeds.
The new livery increases the prominence of the chevron safety markings on the vans, which enlarge by 259% on the Jumbo and 336% on the Sprinter.
The vans also feature pairs of high-intensity LED lights mounted at the front, rear and within each light bar.
Chris Hufflett, group operations director, said the new livery would raise awareness of the ATS brand.
“We’ve developed icons to highlight the full range of fast-fit services we offer.”
The new look is being applied with vinyl graphic film with a high lustre finish to maintain the quality of the colour through each vehicle’s projected fleet life of up to seven years.
