Nissan has confirmed that its Navara pick-up will cost from £18,376 when it goes on sale in January.

Available in either king cab or double cab formats, the Mitsubishi L200 rival will have five trim level options – Visia, Acenta, Acenta+, N-Connecta and Tekna.

Standard safety equipment across the range includes Nissan’s assistive braking system on double cab models, and an electronic limited slip differential, hill start assist and hill descent control.

Visia models feature aircon, Bluetooth integration, an Aux socket, a USB port, automatic headlights and cruise control, while Acenta models add 16-inch wheels and a five-inch infotainment screen.

Acenta+ variants include 18-inch wheels, a rear reversing camera and rear privacy glass.

The N-Connecta trim level features a seven-inch screen with satnav and media system which integrates app connectivity, a DAB radio and live traffic updates, while top-of-the-range Tekna models adds leather seats, roof rails, LED headlights and Nissan’s Around View Monitor, which uses cameras to allow the driver to see around the vehicle.

The Navara’s main rival, Mitsubishi’s L200 is priced from £19,749.
