Renault has revealed prices of its passenger-carrying Trafic SpaceClass ahead of its arrival in showrooms in January 2018.
The high-end shuttle version of the Trafic medium van will cost from £32,500 for the base level SpaceClass SWB derivative, powered by the 125hp 1.6-litre dCi engine and rise to £38,600 for the range-topping SpaceClass Prestige LWB model, which gets the 145hp version of the turbodiesel drivetrain.
In between will be the mid-trim SpaceClass Adventurer coming in at £34,800. All prices listed exclude VAT.
Based on the specification of the Trafic Passenger Sport, the SpaceClass offers flexible space and the ability to accommodate up to nine people. The modular design of the interior is designed to meet the requirements of both business and private customers, according to Renault. Seats mounted on rails in the second and third rows can be rearranged to create more than 50 different configurations – the manufacturer claimed.
Standard equipment includes privacy rear glass, climate control with manual heating and air conditioning in the rear passenger area and six LED reading lamps. The Trafic SpaceClass also gets 220V and USB sockets in the interior for charging laptops and electronic devices.
Externally, the Trafic SpaceClass gets LED daytime running lights, chrome grille and painted bumpers, Trafic SpaceClass badging, grey metallic paint with gloss black detailing, body-coloured mirrors and front bumper, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Standard trim also includes automatic headlights and wipers, MediaNav Evolution seven-inch touchscreen multimedia and navigation system, cruise control,? rear parking sensors, angled front fog lights, leather steering wheel and a variety of storage spaces.
The Adventurer adds a pair of pivoting ‘Captain chairs’ in the second row and the third row rear bench can fold out into a bed.
The Prestige adds leather upholstery and retains the two individual pivoting ‘Captain chairs’ in the second row.
