Light commercial vehicle accessories supplier Rhino Products is supplying equipment to the Team BRIT racing team, having become the official sponsor of driver, Aaron Morgan (pictured), as well as corporate sponsor for the team itself.
All the Team BRIT drivers are disabled, and it is aiming to become the first British all-disabled team to race in the Le Mans 24-hour race.?
Rhino Products is supplying the Surrey-based team with a range of accessories for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van it uses for transportation of equipment between races.
This includes a TowStep with a removeable centre section to facilitate towing race cars behind the Sprinter to race meetings. A PipeTube Pro will be used for storing a large repeater aerial for race day communications between the cars and the pit and Rhino has also supplied its new aluminium ladder, launched last year, for accessing the van roof as well as a KammBar roof bar system.
Morgan broke his back at the age of 15 in a motocross accident and was the youngest ever disabled person to achieve a ‘national B’ race licence in 2006. He joined Team BRIT in 2019 and will be racing in the Britcar Championship this year.
Morgan will join fellow driver Bobby Trundley racing the team’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 in the Endurance Category.
Morgan said: “The kit [Rhino Products is] providing for our team’s van will ensure we’re as professional and efficient as we can be when off the track.”
