Stellantis has begun producing a new Cargo Box van, based on its large van platform in Chassis Cab form.
The new model has an 18.3m3 cargo capacity, with an interior measuring 4,230 mm in length, 2,032 mm in width, and 2,150 mm in height, in standard form. An even larger version will also be available with a 20.5m³ capacity, measuring 4,500mm long and 2,300mm high inside.
It features a 270hp electric motor, and a 110kWh battery, for a range of up to 201 miles.
The van has gone into production at the Stellantis Atessa factory in Italy, which has also begun producing recreational vehicles under the company’s CustomFit programme.
Stellantis owns brands including Peugeot, Citroen, Vauxhall, and Fiat. UK sales details for the Cargo Box van are yet to be announced.
