Hardtop manufacturer Truckman has announced it is developing a range of accessories for the Renault Alaskan and Mercedes-Benz X-class pick-ups, both of which are due to go on sale later this year.
The company also confirmed it will launch new hardtops for the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi L200, while a range of canopies are planned for the Isuzu D-max and VW Amorok.
“2017 is shaping up to be another exciting year at Truckman with the release of new pick-up trucks into the market by a number of manufacturers,” said Mike Wheeler, managing director of Truckman. “We have invested heavily in our people, technology and facilities to ensure we can deliver hardtops and accessories that perfectly complement and enhance pick-ups and maintain the reputation and legacy of the Truckman brand.”
In order to accommodate the expanded product offering, the firm has enlarged its headquarters with the addition of a new mezzanine floor in the warehouse, which has enhanced the stock-holding capacity.
In 2016, Truckman experienced year-on-year sales growth of 38%, while the number of deliveries increased by 37%.
