Volkswagen has opened orders for the Kombi and Shuttle versions of its latest Transporter medium van.

The Kombi offers seating for five – or optionally for six – in a crew van set-up, while the Shuttle is designed for passenger-carrying functions with eight or nine seats.

Both are launching with a 110hp diesel engine as standard – EV versions will be added to the range later this summer. Both models are also available with short or long wheelbase options.

The Kombi is being offered with Commerce Plus and Commerce Pro trim levels, while the Shuttle is being offered with Life and Style trim levels.

Equipment with Commerce Plus trim includes LED headlights and DRLs, manual air conditioning, a 12in driver display, a 13in infotainment touchscreen with wireless App Connect, front and rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera.

Further equipment with Commerce Pro spec includes 16in alloy wheels, a heated windscreen, heated seats, automatic air conditioning, and wireless phone charging.

Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle

Equipment with the Life trim includes 16in alloy wheels, manually adjustable front seat lumbar support, a 12in driver display, a 13in infotainment touchscreen with wireless App Connect, rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera.

Further equipment with Style spec includes 17in alloy wheels, LED rear lights, a heated windscreen, three-zone automatic air conditioning, and wireless phone charging. 

Prices (OTR, excluding VAT) start at £35,250 for the Kombi (Commerce Plus SWB), and £41,205 for the Shuttle (Life SWB).
