The contract calls for different sizes of vehicle to meet different operating needs and Johnson wanted to give its engineers input into the specifications of the vans that each of them would drive.
With Movano they could select either short- or long-wheelbase or standard or high roof variants, not to mention a crew cab van, plus any of the engines and a Tecshift semi-automatic gearbox if required.
So far as Vivaro was concerned Johnson specified the Sportive model — it features air-conditioning plus electric windows and mirrors — which comes with 39 options and 34 panel van variants. An optional satellite navigation system was fitted to all of the vehicles.
