Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced a series of upgrades to its Van Centre network.
In addition to the expansion of the Manchester Van Centre, which is now the biggest standalone Authorised Repairer of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in the country, several other locations have been redeveloped.
These include The Agnew Group opening a purpose-built van centre in Newtonabbey, Northern Ireland, next to Agnew’s VW car dealership.
The new 8,000sqft facility has a display for new and approved used commercial vehicles, a standalone parts and service department and a fully equipped workshop housing VW accredited technicians.
Elsewhere, Marshall Motor Group Holdings has redeveloped its Van Centre in Reading, with the site featuring a display for new and approved used commercial vehicles plus a servicing and MOT workshop.
The Lancaster Volkswagen Loughton centre has also been redeveloped, with upgrades including an overhaul of separate commercial and passenger vehicle showrooms and workshops, an introduction of an external ramp and new first floor parking.
The branch in Rhosrobin is also currently undergoing a makeover to fit out a larger workshop.
The network totals 71 Van Centres and 25 additional authorised repairers.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles national network development manager Richard Blunden said: “The recent improvements to our Van Centres show our commitment to delivering the highest level of service to our customers.
“We are the commercial vehicle professionals with facilities to match our expertise.
“These modern Van Centres and authorised repairers allow us to work with van operators to deliver exactly what they need thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, technology and workshops.”
