New Year packages from Volkswagen

Volkswagen is offering two new aftersales programmes through its dealer network aimed to help owners keep their light commercials in full working order this winter.

Express Visual Check is a free 29-point inspection of the vehicle's key working parts, including the tyres, the lights, and brake fluid and coolant levels. It does not have to be pre-booked.

On offer from now until the end of April for a fixed price of £39.99, VW's Warm-Up Package includes Express Visual Check together with a host of extras. Customers get a winter care kit, including de-icer and a scraper, a litre of Castrol oil, a battery condition check and 10 per cent off any service, parts or accessory purchase alongside other benefits.

Anybody looking to acquire a VW Transporter should be aware that Volkswagen Financial Services is offering a new range of finance lease and contract hire packages until the end of March. They encompass free servicing and maintenance for three years/30,000 miles; whichever is sooner. Rates start at £209 a month.
